Digital Print Graphic Artwork

Digital print graphics has been the most convenient and fast way of art translation. The technology enables different industries to dynamically evolve the changing trend of marketing, advertising, publishing, graphic design, etc. As colour digital presses came to market the initial drivers were for low cost, short runs and quick turnaround. As more companies used the technology, new applications and business models developed for print-on-demand, short-run books; and for inkjet printed signage, where digital technology replaced analogue.

Tom “Thomas” Ross from RMIT, graphic designer, web designer, and photographer worked on a project with us – Connections.

Digital Print

Connections is  a self published research document. Highlighting the interplay of megacities and nation states and entertaining the idea of a virtual nation and floating colonies. Large format, perfect bound publication with an accompanying zine and flag of a speculative nation state.

The accompanying zine will investigates the concept of virtual nationhood and centralised government that does not possess land. As well as how these projects have contributed to a global power shift.

Digital printing will continue to grow in most print sectors across the world.  Innovative users will find more applications and niches to exploit the advantages of digital printing.
